Barcode: Eyes That Kill

It’s official. The fourth book to the Barcode Series has hit the Amazon market. For those of you that are caught up in the series, you know that Kode was last faced with an incredible task, challenging thousands of gladiators. Well, the time has come to see the results. Barcode: Eyes That Kill picks up right where New War Order left off. You won’t miss a blink. If you’re excited about action, you won’t have to worry about missing that either. There is no fade to black scene for anyone…

Final Book Of A Series

I learned a valuable lesson when writing a five book series: Don’t do it again. Though I love writing the Barcode series and I’m getting more fans every day, I’m dreading this last novel. Why? Pressure. The first four books of the series are very emotional novels. They use complex characters to draw the reader in. I also use tragic events to give the antagonists motivation for blood. Well, eventually all of that has to die down. I’ve decided to avoid the emotional appeal to give the readers a break….

Barcode: Eyes That Kill

It’s official. The cover art for Barcode: Eyes That Kill has been completed. The popping colors and intricate design sets a new standard for my novels. I was utterly shocked and amazed throughout the entire process. My artists, Stephanie Yang and Glynnis Koike, are stupid good. It’s that simple. Each character had their own struggle. Character Design: Bailey

It looks like we’re coming down to the final stretch for the cover art. I expect the cover design to be completed by the end of this month. From there, we’ll move on to a few comic pieces that will be included in the novel. For now, check out the current design for Bailey. She’s a new character that will be introduced in Barcode: Eyes That Kill. I won’t reveal her age just yet, but let’s say she supposed look fairly mature for her age.

One Up Barcode: Eyes That Kill

I just finished Barcode: Eyes That Kill for the second time. I actually participated in NaNoWriMo last year and wrote ETK in two or three weeks. Once I was done, I finished editing Barcode: New War Order. Though I loved the story in ETK, I knew I could write something better. When I learned character design, my instructor taught me the concept of “One Up.” It’s just what it sounds like. You take your original work and make it better. With the One Up concept in mind, I wrote a…

Barcode: New War Order Release

Currently, I’m still in the process of developing New War Order. However, I haven’t had time to write any chapters for a long time. For those that read other post, you may have known that I didn’t have a job after relocating to Southern California. I searched diligently and couldn’t find anything until recently. Now, I’m working at a real estate company doing the same thing I do here, blogging. I manage SEO and social media websites. My goal is to drive traffic to websites. Though I knew a little…
